Alloy Castings had its modest beginnings in 1948 when Alexander Santilli started the business in his garage. ACC's first major breakthrough was producing fire alarm pedestals for Boston and several other municipalities. Very quickly the quality work brought orders for traffic light bases and other associated products. In addition, castings were and are produced for a wide range of commercial, industrial and high tech industries. Alloy Castings also produces a wide range of reproduction antique poles and bases for period lighting fixtures.

In 1978, Alexander retired and was succeeded by his son, Frank. Under his leadership, the business has constantly expanded throughout New England at first and now castings are shipped nationwide.

Pricing Contact our Sales Department for price quotations. All prices are subject to change except quotations which are firm for 30 days from the date of quotation.

Pricing for custom work, tooling, or pattern work will be quoted in advance.

Prices do not include anchor bolts.
Credit Invoice payment terms are net 30 days from the date of invoice, subject to approval our Credit department.

A 1-1/2; % per month finance charge on invoices not paid within 45 days.
Transportation All products are sold F.O.B. factory. Freight will be prepaid and added to the invoice with the product unless otherwise indicated.
Packaging Our Traffic Bases are available in five colors: Aluminum, Federal Yellow, MDC Gray, Green and Black. The bases are cleaned, receive a primer coat and two coats of finish paint. We use only the finest acrylic enamel paint. Special colors may be available upon request.

Thermoset Powder Coating is available upon request.

Single pole and bases are available in various colors at no additional cost.
Steel Poles Painted steel poles Schedule 40 4--1/2" O.D. x .237 wall are available. Threaded and painted to Mass Highway Specifications. Length of poles must be specified.
Aluminum Poles All poles are rotary sanded to a standard satin finish. They may be threaded and cut to length as the customer specifies. 4--1/2" O.D. and 5" O.D. are in stock.
Vibration Dampers Factory installed vibration dampers are available upon request.
